The Motion And Heart event was the brainchild of Neil Taylor who had also managed to combine his wedding and 40th birthday celebration into the whole weekend! The event also saw the launch of Messages which enabled people to subscribe on the day and to enjoy reading and discussing the magazine throughout the day.

But there were plenty of other activities to keep people busy and OMD fans could watch OMD videos, buy OMD items, enjoy the SynthPop Idol performances (OMD classics performed by amateur musicians) and dance the night away to OMD classics spun by DJ Stew Craner.
The OMD Disco was also livened up by an OMD Rave session which took the best of OMD's dance music such as Agnus Dei, Apollo XI and a series of live cuts and challenged the hardcore dancers to keep it going for the rest of the evening.
A fun weekend which enabled OMD fans to meet and swop stories, share a beer and dance the night away.
