NOTES

This was DinDisc's third attempt to score a hit with 'Electricity' which once again failed to make a commercial impact.

'Electricity' was one of the first songs that Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys wrote together.

Almost had been inspired by The Teardrop Explodes' song 'Camera, Camera' which featured the line "I see a red car, I see a green car". The phrase lodged in Andy's mind and he reworked the idea of travelling to see a loved one by car.

Both versions of the songs featured on this release are identical to the ones on the debut album.

TRIVIA

It's long been regarded that the version of 'Electricity' featured here (and on OMD's debut album) was recorded in The Gramophone Suite in Liverpool. In fact, it was a remixed version of the track recorded at Cargo Studios (originally produced by Martin Hannett). The same track was reworked for 1988's The Best Of OMD and 1998's The OMD Singles album.
